in tribute to Thomas Cole
When I was in 7th grade my parents took me to see The Voyage of Life paintings by Thomas Cole. They are still hanging in the Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute in Utica, New York. Nothing in the art world has impressed me more! They are what caused me to want to paint! So I have used his work on other landscapes to inspire the following paintings.

Enjoy them: thanks mom and dad for opening my eyes.
